Every summer, Splash! draws thousands of passionate hip-hop fans from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland for an unforgettable experience packed with iconic acts. In 2024, we had the privilege of contributing to the festival’s identity — subcontracted by Blockschmidt, we brought the famous excavator and signature chain to life.

The location? Ferropolis – an abandoned excavation site turned industrial monument. With its towering bucket-wheel excavator as a backdrop, it’s a stage like no other: raw, massive, and full of character.

The mission: to create visuals that capture the festival’s unique DNA and elevate the live experience. When creating the jewelry and excavator we focused on bold, easy-to-read animations that transported the essence of Splash! directly to the crowd. Fast paced and bold.

Across two giant LED walls, the visuals framed the main stage in a seamless composition — impossible to miss for the 25,000+ fans in attendance.
